This letter states that the retiree returning to the classroom will be responsible for making their own individual contributions to the New Mexico Educational Retirement fund and to contact NMERB directly to determine the required amount. PLEASE NOTE: This letter contains many inaccuracies. All contributions must be submitted electronically through the retiree’s school or school district.
